Sungmin Kim is on the piano faculty at the Arizona School for the Arts in Phoenix, AZ, USA. He is currently pursuing a D.M.A in Collaborative Piano at Arizona State University, studying with Dr. Andrew Campbell and Dr. Miki Aoki. Sungmin also serves as the collaborative pianist at the Trinity Episcopal Church (Phoenix, AZ), Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, AZ) and is the music director at Sun Lakes United Church of Christ (Chandler, AZ). He is from New York City, where he attended the Special Music School and Lucy Moses School at Kaufman Center. He received his B.A. in Music at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and holds two M.M. degrees in Collaborative Piano and Organ performance at Ithaca College. His previous teaching positions include Brophy College Preparatory (Phoenix, AZ) and Community School for Music and Arts (Ithaca, NY).
