Application Checklist

1. Please submit the complete  online application form by January 31, 2025.

       All below listed items on the Application Checklist, including the audition recording links, but excluding the payments, should be  emailed to: info@saarburgserenaden.de.

2. If you do not submit something, please explain

3. One high definition photo (does not need to be passport photo) should be also submitted ONLINE as an attachment to your mail

4. Application Fee EUR 160  bank to bank transfer or per wise.com only (non-refundable) is due along with application, deadline- January 31, 2025 ( EUR 170 after January 31, 2025).

5. Deposit of EUR 700 (non –refundable) to reserve your place in the Festival and your accommodations, due by March 1, 2025 upon receipt of notification of acceptance ( EUR 100 late fee  after March 1). All payments must be in Euro ONLY and BANK TO BANK WIRE TRANSFER ONLY

6. Video Recording for instrumentalists (NOT older than 4 months and in YouTube format ONLY; submitted ONLY ONLINE; you can also include YouTube links in your mail to us; It should contain two contrasting works or sections of works (virtuosic/florid and cantilena) with total duration between 10 & 15 minutes.

Please indicate the actual date of recording and  proper full titles of the works performed!!!

  • VIDEO recording for singers ( YouTube format only/Youku for Chinese students, NOT OLDER than 4 months); 2 contrasting pieces – virtuosic (florid) and cantilena with total duration between 10 & 15 min. (submitted ONLY ONLINE; you can include links in your mail to us). NOT THIS YEAR !!!
  • All recordings should be of high quality both, sound and picture wise, and represent your absolutely best technical and musical abilities. NO  recordings with amplification can be accepted and considered. NO use of selfies (it may result in contorted mirror picture -like holding the bow on string instruments in the left hand, as well as contorted facial expression) for the audition recordings please. Selections composed with an accompaniment need to be recorded and submitted with the piano accompaniment. Please be aware, that the quality of your audition recording will be the main source for the evaluation and may ultimately affect your status and chamber music  assignments.

Please make sure that the recordings you submit are accessible to us (not designated for private use only) and have no              viewing limitation date.

  • We strongly encourage all participants to consult and obtain an approval of your teacher prior to submitting your audition recording.

Recording is an OBLIGATORY item for all applying as Active performing participants . No exception  is possible !!!

NO recording is required for the students applying as Active NON-performing participants.
