Violin: Jian Ma

Jian Ma is a associate professor of violin, supervising Masters degree students at Nanjing University of the Arts, P.R. of China.

She is a member of both JiangSu Chamber Music Association and Chinese Musicians Association. Professor Ma’s personal violin solo concert held in Nanjing was filmed and broadcast as a featured program by JiangSu TV station of China.

In 1998, she was invited to participate in Belgian & Chinese cultural exchange programs and went to Belgium and other seven European countries for academic exchanges and visits.

In 2005, she  visited Thailand as a member China Delegation of Culture and Art, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and Thailand.

The same year, in view of Professor Jian Ma’s achievements in her music career, her biography was incorporated into the Dictionary of Chinese Musicians and certified by People’s Publishing House.

In 2013, she was invited by Japan’s National Ibaraki University School of Literature to attend the 1st International conference held by the Asian Association of Art Education.

Many of Professor Jian Ma’s students are currently working in major universities and orchestras.
